Xeriscape Design

Xeriscape is our specialty. Utah summers are hot and dry, water rates keep climbing and many cities now pay homeowners to replace thirsty lawn. A well-designed xeriscape swaps grass that struggles for drought-tolerant plants, rock mulch, boulders and drip irrigation — and it should never look like a gravel lot. We design xeriscapes with color, texture and structure: native and adapted perennials, ornamental grasses and shrubs, layered rock and cobble, dry creek beds, paths and gathering spaces. Weed barrier goes down under every rock bed, and every plant is watered by drip so nothing is wasted.
